Ever catch yourself thinking, “I don’t want to adult!” because you are overwhelmed and have no idea what you are doing?

Ever feel like your parents and/or teachers could have better equipped you for what life would be like?

Did you reach 18 and realize you have no idea how to do most basic things?

A lot of people feel that way.

A lot of people did what they were told, made good grades in school, excelled in extra curriculars, checked all the boxes and then found that none of that meant much of anything in the real world.

Conviction

While I wrote this back in 2021, and I’ve certainly grown in many ways, the core of it still rings true so I thought I’d share it here.

Conviction.

Where would I be without God’s Holy Spirit sometimes gently, sometimes not, convicting me of my sin?

Right where I started. Wallowing in anguish, crushed beneath the weight of the world and my insurmountable sin.

Yet God in His kindness, mercy, grace, and love sent a Savior to lift that yoke from my shoulders and replace it with His.

Here is where you’ll find my observations from a life lived in Christ as a wife and homeschooling mom.

Everyday we have the choice in how we frame all that we see and interact with in this fallen world. My goal is to always point toward Christ and look for the God’s eye perspective.
